Drug free Kashmir is a initiative by Acmocare Foundation which focuses on the elimination of drug abuse and its resulting criminality, the team has taken an initiative to raise awareness about the major challenges that illicit drug poses to society.
Our Mission
The mission of Drug Free Kashmir is to mobilize support and inspire people to act against drug abuse and to advance science on the causes and consequences of drug use and addiction and to apply that knowledge to improve individual and public health. In this regard, DFK addresses the most fundamental and essential questions about drug abuse trends and understanding how drugs work in the brain and body, to developing and testing new approaches to treatment and prevention.
Improve Strategies
DFK supports Research to identify the biological,environmental, behavioral and social causes and consequences of drug use and addiction across the lifespan. It also supports to develop improved strategies to prevent drug use, help people with substance use disorders achieve and maintain a meaningful and sustained recovery, increase the public health impact of DFK research and programs.
